Job Summary:
The Property Management Assistant is responsible for assisting with managing the Property Management database (AMT). This position scans and uploads invoices and correspondence, updates landlord contact information, logs in property management issues, and assists with miscellaneous projects related to the AMT database. The Property Management Assistant works with Property Managers/Supervisor on investigating, negotiating, and resolving basic disputes with landlords and on desktop audits of basic year-end reconciliations. This position provides administrative support to the Property Management team, assisting with and coordinating team projects and meetings.
Job Description:
- Assists with managing the Property Management database (AMT) by scanning and uploading invoices and correspondences into the system, updating landlord contact information, and logging in property management issues. Helps maintain the accuracy of the database, including tracking critical dates and lease information.
- Works with Property Manager and Supervisor on investigating, negotiating, and resolving basic disputes with landlords.
- Assists with desktop audits of basic year-end reconciliations under supervision of the Property Manager.
- Works closely with Operations under the supervision of the Property Manager to develop an understanding of Operations’ business needs.
- Provides administrative support to the Property Management team. Coordinates team meetings and performs other administrative support, such as handling phones and department mail and maintaining the filing system. Creates cover letters and sends out FedEx packages.
- Assists Property Management with miscellaneous projects related to the AMT database.
- Supports Property Management team in completing projects requested by other departments.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum one to two years of previous work experience preferred
