Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:

The Database Administrator performs database administration duties including backup and restore strategies, maintenance, patch application, and performance monitoring and tuning. This position conducts database planning, including data modeling and design, availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning. The Database Administrator provides application support and integration and database administration support to 3rd party vendors, developers, and others.

Descriptions
• Performs database administration duties including backup and restore tasks, maintenance, patch application, and performance monitoring and tuning.
• Participates in database planning, including data modeling and design, availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
• Provides application support and integration, including creating database environments, integrating with applications, query development and optimization, and incident response.
• Provides database administration support to third party vendors, developers, and others as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
• Minimum five years of relevant experience, including work with SQL server and experience with Analysis, Integration, and Reporting and Notification Services, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
• Successful completion of annual store training
