Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:

The Associate Asset Protection position is responsible for providing immediate response to Operators on asset protection issues.  This position resolves initial equipment breakdowns directly or by contacting appropriate vendors.  The Associate Asset Protection works with the Asset Protection team to address broad-based concerns and with the security system vendors and the IS Department to integrate security software.  This position trains Operators to use the security technology effectively and uses reports generated by the technology to monitor Operators’ use of security technology to detect fraud.

  • Responsible for providing immediate response to Operators on asset protection issues.  Resolves initial equipment breakdowns directly or by contacting appropriate vendors, resolving system and equipment problems within 24 hours. 
  • Works with the security system vendors and the IS Department to integrate security software. Maintains a list of common security software issues and convenes meetings within Asset Protection to develop solutions and improve the technology’s effectiveness.  Works with the Asset Protection team to address broad-based concerns based on recurrent issues requiring response. 
  • Trains Operators to use security technology effectively and uses reports generated by the technology to monitor Operators’ use of the security technology to detect fraud.   Develops e-modules to train new store managers on an ongoing basis.
  • Performs special projects related to security technology.  Works with the Asset Protection team on major security initiatives.  Maintains security equipment database and makes recommendations for store security equipment upgrades.
  • Identifies Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that provide the rationale for AP Analysts to conduct on-site visits to stores. Maintains Operator accountability to the Delaget EBMRS software, including monitoring up-time, usage, and follow up for all Operators.

 

 

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Some experience in loss prevention, maintenance, or accounting
  • Completion of at least one approved security course
  • Successful completion of annual store training
  • Ability to demonstrate and teach Panda’s Mission, Values, and Culture
  • Basic knowledge of physical, information, and proprietary security
  • Basic knowledge of Operations 
  • Computer/technology skills and  proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and security technology, including Delaget EBMRS
  • Time management, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication (oral and written), listening, and interpersonal skills
