The Field/Campus Recruiter manages the full cycle campus recruiting process, and conducts direct sourcing of candidates for Panda Operations positions.   This position plans, creates, coordinates, and participates in on campus recruiting activities, including campus lobby time, campus presentations, student club activities, on campus interviews, career fairs, and related activities.  The Field/Campus Recruiter ensures quality Operations candidates are identified and screened to meet Operations’ needs in assigned Region.  This position works with campus career centers, student organizations, clubs, and faculty members to achieve recruiting goals and brand  Panda's image for students and faculties.  The Field/Campus Recruiter requires extensive travel within the assigned area. This is a temporary position and is expected to last 6  - 12 months, after which time business needs will be re-assed.  


  • Proactively identifies and recruits diverse candidates for open positions, building a strong candidate pipeline through internal relationships with hiring managers and external relationships with universities and colleges.
  •  Manages the full cycle campus recruiting process, planning, coordinating, and participating in on campus recruiting activities, including career fairs, campus presentations, on campus interviews, and related activities, to market the company with targeted universities.  
  •  Ensures quality Operations candidates are identified and screened to meet Operations’ needs in assigned Region by building and maintaining long-term relationships at colleges and universities with key faculty, administration, and student organizations. 
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for campus-based candidates throughout the recruiting process.  Ensures effective handoff to Operations leaders for interviews and hiring decisions.  
  • Conducts onboarding process and keep in touch with new hires, including cultural orientation, to ensure retention of new associates.
  • Works with managers to ensure understanding and commitment to the company’s mission, values, and culture.
  • Assists in coaching and advising leadership on issues related to campus recruitment and hiring.
  • Conducts direct sourcing of candidates for Panda Operations, conducting phone screens and in-person interviews and scheduling interviews with Operations management.  



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; business and/or hospitality majors preferred.
  • Minimum three years of campus recruiting experience with a retail or hospitality company
