Summary:
Provide legal and administrative support to Corporate Legal attorneys with respect to commercial contracts, litigation support, employment and labor matters, corporate governance, intellectual property matters, and special projects from time-to-time.
Performs the following duties and responsibilities of the position consistent with the mission and values of Panda Restaurant Group, Inc.
Responsibilities (subject to attorney supervision):
- Review, negotiate, and draft commercial contracts as requested.
- Plan and coordinate litigation support activities (e.g., legal holds, e-discovery matters, etc.).
- Research and draft memoranda related to legal and business matters.
- Draft and organize corporate governance documents, policies and procedures.
- Assist with transaction closings and other post-execution matters.
- Assist with special projects.
Job Qualifications:

BA/BS degree. Paralegal certification a plus

3-4 years of Paralegal or Corporate Legal experience

Experience in a law firm or law department working for 3 or more attorneys

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Computer experience in an office environment

Restaurant background preferred

Experience with Microsoft Access preferred

Attention to detail and accuracy

Flexibility to adapt to changing procedures, systems and priorities

Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
